Chief Executive Officer
Chris brings a wealth of experience across both the population health management and benefits strategy and delivery realms. Previously, Chris was responsible for building Healthways' Employer and Government division, serving as President for four years. Chris also spent five years as Healthways' Chief Human Resource Officer, responsible for building and leading the People and Culture strategy. In his role as CHRO, Healthways was listed on Fortune's "Best Places to Work," and he received multiple honors from the National Business Group on Health.
Chris received his undergraduate degree from Bucknell University and his Master's in Organizational Development from the Graziadio School of Business at Pepperdine University. He is married and has two wild and wonderful children. True to his Nashville roots, and much to the dismay of his wife and children, Chris is a beginner banjo player. He is also a rabid Nashville Predators fan.
Chief Growth Officer
Rick merges the unique experiences of working within large national health plans, analytic and data warehousing companies, and disruptive healthcare technologies. Most recently, Rick served as Vice President, Customer Success, for Castlight Health. He also served as Vice President, Health Plan Services, for Health Data Management Solutions (HDMS), and held senior roles at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association.
Rick holds a BA from Iowa State University, an MBA from DePaul University, and has completed advanced coursework in Medical Informatics at Northwestern University. He resides in Denver, Colorado, with his wife and four children. A die-hard Cubs fan, he is still in shock that he no longer has to "wait until next year".
Chief Financial Officer
Michele brings 25 years of experience in finance focused in growth-oriented companies. Most recently, Michele spent 15 years at AdvancedMD as the Chief Financial Officer and General Manager, growing the company from pre-product, pre-revenue into a market leader with multiple successful exits.
Michele holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Arizona, an MBA from the University of Utah, and is a CPA. A lake girl at heart, on her boat is her favorite place to be. Once a summer, you may catch her off the back of the boat doing a 360 on the kneeboard just to prove to her kids that she still can.
Chief Product Officer
Sophie bring extensive experience in early stage healthcare technology companies and the application of analytics to improve the quality of care for members while lowering costs. She previously led the analytics team at San Francisco-based Castlight Health, worked as a consultant on global and public health projects at Applied Strategies in San Mateo, California, and advised hospital clients on revenue cycle management at the Advisory Board Company in Washington, D.C.
Sophie holds a BS and an MBA, both from Stanford University. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking with her dog, skiing, trail running, and cheering on Stanford football.
Founder & Chief Innovation Officer
Allison began her career in managed care and healthcare administration as a Senior Underwriter for Great West Life, then furthering her career and development at Intermountain Healthcare. While at Intermountain, she developed a successful narrow network strategy and founded the payor contracting division that impacted $3.0 billion in revenue. She later served as Vice President of Managed Care with HCA, the Healthcare Company, administering and negotiating all major contracts.
In 2008, Allison founded imagine Health, Inc., bringing her depth of knowledge in provider contracting, negotiations, and execution to all U.S. employers. Allison led Imagine Health through years of sustained growth in new markets while reducing costs and improving quality for the healthcare system as a whole.
Vice President, Customer Success & Strategic Partnerships
Melissa spent over a decade on Wall Street as a healthcare equity research analyst and portfolio manager at RS Funds, Janus Capital, and DCF Capital, respectively. She left the world of investments to help start Navigenics, a Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers company that was a pioneer in the industry now known as consumer or personal genomics. Employee #1 at Navigenics, Melissa led Business Development until they sold the company to Life Technologies, now part of Thermo Fisher Scientific.
Melissa graduated from Princeton University cum laude and is a CFA Charterholder. Although her young children have surpassed her in both speed and ability in skiing, she still loves hitting the slopes. After moving from Connecticut to Park City, Melissa and her family can be found skiiing, fly fishing, hiking, or otherwise enjoying the glorious mountains that surround them.
Vice President, Technology & Operations
Josh is a global healthcare executive that has worked in India, the Philippines, the Middle East, and European healthcare. He started his career on the provider side of healthcare in Intermountain Healthcare at their premier pediatric tertiary hospital. He then spent two years as Managing Director of Technology for Huntsman Biotechnology Corporation collaborating with research teams to apply for global patents and licensing for cutting edge proprietary discoveries and therapies.
Most recently, he spent nine years with Optum extending United Health Group's worldwide footprint, including three years as Chief Operating Officer of the Middle Eastern and North African markets. Josh loves reaching the ridge before dawn and teaching his little ones how to ski.
